Yeah I seen that, says he may race in a few of the big events, But will not race a full season.

Dang! Didn't see that coming.
Shocked when I saw it too as he's only 43 years old. Said as part owner with Childress he'd still be involved. Never my favorite but a good driver.

Jeff is seeing the writing on the wall in regards to NASCAR plus the fact that he has back problems,More money than god and two young kids he wants to spent time with.
Public opinion and the fan base is getting smaller each year and Trashcar keeps fumbling with the rules package that is much like the old IROC cars.
Don't even get me started on this new breed of driver. They ALL SUCK! 99% of them have never had to make a dollar in order to get to the next race. Now they all just go out a make a commercial and /or a appearance to two and make 3 times what they would for winning a race.

Nascar has been going down hill fast, I think once Jeff retires it will really go downhill. Don't blame him, he has the money he should enjoy life and family
