Really no reason not to do a trust now. Our trusts cost $130, and take about an hour to get the legal forma back to you sor signature. Our trust form is filled out electronically and submitted to the attorney's to legalese and return it.
Why is there no reason not to do a trust? I've heard it a few times and still haven't heard a valid reason on why not to do one.

am I confused? What I stated meant that starting a trust does not hurt anything and is helpful. It protects your property and ensures that if something happens to you your property remains with the others listed on the trust. Having the trust avoids a lot of probate issues. Thats all I meant.

I misread that. My apologies.

I'm thinking about heading down this rabbit hole and been fighting it for a year. But here we are……lol.

I want it for hunting so looking for something short and light weight. It will need to be able to shoot 30 cal and 6.5. I will also be putting it in a trust.

I've been looking at the Banish Backcountry from Silencer Central.

So, let's hear it……

I'm late to the party on this one, but another vote for thunderbeast. Sounds like you are shooting bolt guns. Their threaded brake system is super solid, the ultra core is an amazing design. I am not sure there is a better can out there for precision shooting. Just install the brakes on your multiple sticks and move the can around as you want. Minimal POI/POA shift, great suppression. If you ever need customer service, they will knock it out of the park. Get an ultra 5 or 7 (depending on your calibers) and be done w it.

I believe I'm at 103 days. Trusts are taking longer apparently, even though it's just me on it.

On March 12, I submitted two forms through a Silencer Shop kiosk. One can was approved 4 days later. The second can was disapproved 7 days later because the ATF said the signatures were missing. I'm not sure how that could happen since the paperwork was identical to the other one.

It took Silencer Shop a full month to resubmit the paperwork for that can...April 18.

Last week, I submitted two forms on Wednesday. One was approved less than 24 hours later and the other within 36 hours of submission. I called the ATF to see if I could get an update on the original can that had to be resubmitted. All they could tell me was that it was resubmitted and it's pending.

All of these are individuals, so no trusts. I just don't think there is any rhyme or reason right now...
